Here I go again on my own

This is my new BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG! Hi. How are you? For the next couple of months, I will be documenting the incredible journey of my upcoming writing project. You will witness the creation of something...It's been a year since I finished writing and displaying my last group of 'songs'. I put this word in quotes because I've received many questions over the years I've been doing this as to what this song writing hobby entails. No, I don't know how to write music. I can't play an instrument (since beginner piano doesn't count) I can't sing, I'm no music expert. I'm just a guy who likes to write songs despite lacking mostly all the elements it TAKES to create one in the first place. I'm also someone who loves music. I feel that these two elements are enough to do something productive. I've had a difficult time finding stuff that works or doesn't sound repetitive over the past year, plus most of my creative space has been dedicated to two creative writing classes I've been taking. It's been a fun, enlightening, humble and sometimes painful experience, but the results have been very favorable.
Anyway, I plan to record my thoughts, 'little lyrics', possible titles of songs which will help trigger even more ideas, pictures to display those thoughts, even an occasional video. When I write these songs, although I lack the musical knowledge it may take, I have a basis on what it sounds like. So it's more than just words. I hope you sort of have a gist of what I'm saying.
