Okay. I have all my thoughts set up. I have the scorecards scanned, two memories I'm ready to share and a couple of pictures via shitty cellphone camera. (The actual pictures will be ready for Tuesday against the pesky Nats) But I must be honest. AFter being at Shea for 6 hours plus, experiencing several emotions, and more 7 train rides than one should ever have to endure during a 24 hour span, I can't write the Game 14-13 recap right now. Not the way I want it to be written. I won't rush these. Too important. But later today, there will be two recaps! It will sound bipolar due to the drastically different outcomes, but it's coming.
Here's a preview though: Thank the LORD they won that second game! What a relief. It's like that feeling where you really have to goto the bathroom (You could choose in your head whether it's number 1 or 2) and you can't find a bathroom anywhere. But at the last possible moment, you find an open Starbucks or Barnes & Noble, or isolated corner. That's the kind of relief I experienced tonight after Ayala got that 3rd out. So stay tuned. Two posts, manana.
One more thing: How many times is Delgado gonna save our bacon!? Hopefully deep into October...
